About Marcus Croskell…. Barrister operating in Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and beyond.

Marcus was called to the independent bar in 2003 as a lawyer and barrister operating in Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and beyond.  He is a member of EA Law - East Anglian Chambers and regularly attends court across the region from Cambridge and Lowestoft to London.  He has conferencing facilities at any one of the centres of East Anglian Chambers, namely in Chelmsford, Ipswich and Norwich.  East Anglian Chambers is recognised as a leading set of barristers in the 2017 The Legal 500 UK Edition and awarded the prestigious 'first tier' status.

Away from his practice, Marcus has particular interests in sailing, skiing, politics and travel.  He is a regular crew member of a yacht called 'Fatjax' and races regularly off the east and south coasts throughout the year.  In 2014 he competed as a member of the British Sailing Team in the RORC Brewin Dolphin Commodore’s Cup.  Prior to this year he has had a series of successful years winning his group at the Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Regatta,  and then winning the 2013 Delta Lloyd North Sea Regatta in Holland, followed by the world famous RORC Rolex Fastnet Race.  The team came 17th overall out of 350 boats, but were the third British boat beating the professional paid crews.  He hopes to compete again in the Fastnet Race in 2019.  Off the water he enjoys travelling extensively and occasionally combining it with his passion for alpine sports.
